SALARY : R138 486 per annum
CENTRE : Drakenstein Sub- district
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic and numeracy and literacy skills. Experience: Appropriate ride in transportation of personnel and goods. Inherent requirement of the job: Valid code (B/EB) driver’s license. Valid Public Driving Permit (PDP). Willingness to work additional time and to perform standby obligations when needed. Physically in shape to lift and load heavy items. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of routine, maintenance, Inspections for defects on vehicles and safe riding skills. Ability to accept accountability and duty and to work independently. Knowledge of Transport Circular four of 2000 and precise knowledge of road.
DUTIES : Daily transporting of reliable passengers, post, packages, medication, goods, and equipment. Ensure correct completion of logbooks. Deliver and collect products and equipment inside the Western Cape. Conduct hobbies maintenance, cleaning of Government automobiles and behavior events inspection of automobiles and file defects. Perform activities administrative duties when required and reply to emergencies when necessary. Relief personnel inside the component when required and render assist to supervisor.
