POSITION SUMMARY
Respond straight away to requests from company and different departments. Fill cart with substances and transport cart to assigned area. Enter visitor rooms following procedures for gaining get entry to and ensuring vacancy before entering. Replace visitor facilities and materials in rooms. Replace soiled linens and terry with easy items. Make beds and fold terry. Clean bathrooms. Remove trash, dirty linen, and room provider items. Check that all appliances are current in the room and in working order. Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and performs ground care obligations (e.g., in visitor rooms and hallway).
Housekeeping Protocol
Contact Engineering, At Your Service (AYS), Delighted to Serve (DTS), or Housekeeping office immediately for urgent repairs. Identify and report preventative or other protection troubles in public areas or guest rooms.
Select terrific cleaning chemical substances and essential private shielding gear for a number surfaces and cleansing jobs, following OSHA policies and corporate standards. Respond immediately to requests from guests, Front Desk, or At Your Service requests. Transport cart to assigned vicinity and position securely, following processes for cart positioning. Return cart to exact vicinity at the end of shift. Fill cart with materials (e.g., chemicals, rags, linens, amenities) as needed. Report room status (e.g., Do Not Disturb observe on room, discrepant rooms) to Main Linen Room, Housekeeping manager/supervisor, or Front Desk.
Guest Rooms, Villas, and Suites.
Enter visitor rooms following procedures for gaining access, such as knocking three times, pronouncing “Housekeeping,” and ensuring vacancy earlier than entering. Report missing hotel/resort property and damages to room to manager/supervisor. Limit access to visitor rooms while cleansing by way of following departmental procedures. Replace guest amenities and components in rooms, such as toiletries, glasses, mugs, linens, towels, tissues, coffee, printed materials, and laundry bags according to standards. Replace soiled linens (e.g., sheets, pillow cases) and terry (e.g., towels, bathrobes) with smooth items, following correct mattress making and folding standards.
