SALARY : R138 486 – R163 131 per annum (Level 02), plus 37% in lieu of benefits

REQUIREMENTS : ABET Level 1 – 4 or equivalent Competencies: Special requirements/skills needed: Knowledge of a few repetitive duties such as equipment, gardening, fitness and security measures and incident handling procedures. Basic numeracy, interpersonal relationships, capacity to operate fundamental equipment and machines, organizing and literacy. Must be physically match and wholesome as the work is of physically demanding nature.

DUTIES : Performing bodily tasks to keep a excessive general of neatness in garden services and grounds. Planting trees, flowers, shrubs, grass, and other plants in gardens. Preparation of soil for the planting of plants. Maintenance of flower and different beds via fertilising, irrigating, weeding and pruning the place necessary. The mowing of lawns and the reducing of grass edges. The loading and unloading of a range of articles wanted on the grounds on/off trucks. The irrigation of lawns. Removing refuse from the terrain and loading it on trucks for transport to the refuse dump. Keeping different buildings on the grounds easy and tidy (e.g., fish fry facilities, parking areas, ditches and gutters). Maintaining fences. Practice pest control. Assist with the practise of grounds for functions. Check the serviceability of machinery and equipment. Reporting any defaults on the terrain to the Groundsman Foreman. Ensure safety awareness with the use of all tools on all tasks.
