REQUIREMENTS : National Senior Certificate Competencies: Communication: Must be in a position to bring clear, easy and easy-to-understand messages/ records to teenagers and youth. Empathy: Must be in a position to admire and construct positive relationships with youth and youth. Trustworthiness: Must be in a position to build a relationship of have confidence with youth and youth. Honesty: Must be principled and real to oneself and others. Teamwork and collaboration: Must be able to work cooperatively with others and be part of a team. Understanding of principles: Must understand and be capable to practice the principles applied in toddler and childhood
care. Computer literacy.

DUTIES : Care and Development: Must be capable to recognize and grant care and improvement of adolescents and youth. Understanding of primary needs: Must be in a position to apprehend the physical, emotional, spiritual, cognitive, and social wants of kids and youth. Administration: Must be in a position to operate administrative activities referring to to the completion of logbooks, incident reports, etc. Role modelling: Must be able to identify, allocate and take part in realistic activities to transfer capabilities to teenagers and youth. Implementation of programs: Must be able to help in the Implementation of planned programs and things to do for children and youth based totally on their identified developmental needs. Understanding of children’s rights: Must be capable to promote and uphold the rights of adolescents and youth. Knowledge of guidelines and procedures: Must comprehend the guidelines and strategies of the care center.
