Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waitress/Waiter to join their esteemed 5 star hotel team. As a key member of their dining service staff, you will provide exceptional service to their guests in a luxurious setting. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest has a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure tables are clean and well-set throughout service.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food and wine pairings is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in hospitality or food service is an advantage.
