To process sales orders received from customers telephonically and ensure that required product is delivered to customer and is correctly billed and in line with the pricing list.
Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Identifying and initiating contact with potential customers to sell company products primarily by telephone
To follow up sales leads generated by marketing activities via telephone.
To identify potential customers and follow up to achieve new sales or refer the customer to the relevant sales person
Ensure all orders received are entered into the system accurately.
Process orders with extreme accuracy and ensure correct procedure is followed
Ensure smooth running of order input to delivery
Releasing of stock
Monitoring of stock order process
Internal and External customer liaison
Representative and regional sales force liaison
Arranging and tracking that delivery to customers is done
Handling customer queries regarding their orders, products and the quality
Recording and filing sales documents and orders
Billing and maintaining records of amounts due from customers is carried out deliveries
Photocopying and faxing as required
Qualifications and Experience
2 years experience in a similar position
FMCG experience will be an advantage
Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel,) intermediate level
Telephone orders experience
Experience working in a fast paced environment
Proven track record in customer relations/service
Strong organisational ability
Effective communication with all relevant parties (team player)
Proactive, Innovative and time management
Customer service orientation
Strong administrative ability and multi tasking abilities
The ability to interact with customers (internal and external) in a polite, but assertive manner
High stress threshold
Initiative and ability to work under pressure
Good communication skills, written and oral
Driven, passionate and results oriented.
